The Power of Place
Place-based education connects learning to communities and the world around us.
What is Place-Based Education?
Place-based education (PBE) is an educational approach that immerses students in local heritage, cultures, landscapes, opportunities, and experiences, using these as a foundation for the study of language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, and other subjects across the curriculum.
"This Place-Based Education approach can serve as a framework to connect learning models, increase the power of our educational system and serve as the foundation for a thriving democracy."

I completed a Bachelor of Arts in English last year and I am strongly attracted to language teaching and online course design. PBE is a new education field that I started to explore this year and it is fantastic! Hope you enjoy this website:)
